pretty good

It had a few flaws though. You need to make the controls have more of an effect on the cars movement, most of the time i could just drift through corners without using them. Change it from a pseudo-3D game into an ACTUAL 3D game, and you'd have a winner for sure.

Eh.

Well, here's my gameplay experience. I read through the tips, set up a few towers, beat the first 10 or so rounds with slightly less effort then that required to breathe, before getting completely overwhelmed by the first boss, who managed to slip completely through my "Avenue of Abismal Firepower", almost completely resistant to every kind of weapon. It was at this stage where I realised that this is just a cut and paste, dyed in the wool Elemental Tower Defense game, with pretty much the same features as every other TD game before it. You get 2 stars for the art, which is pretty much the only original part of this game.

=( ... well at least thanks for the 2 stars :P

Umm.....

It's ok for preschoolers, I guess. I had to laugh when you said "Meant for preschoolers with aid from adult", so you decided to upload it to NG... pretty poor judgement there, buddy.

Challenging, but lacking a much needed autosave.

I started playing this at a time of afternoon when my brain probably wasn't up to the challenge and I didn't finish. But, alas, next time I play, I have to start from the very start. The first 3 puzzles were relatively simple, which I knocked over in about 5-10 minutes each, but the last one involving the 2 circles (not the overlapping ones) really bugged me. I would have liked to come back to it another time, perhaps when I was a tad more refreshed, but I can't, because of a conspicuously lacking save function. It's like trying to eat a massive dish, but every time you become full the meal regenerates. Overall however, the game was very entertaining, and the difficulty wasn't so impossible that I didn't get some satisfaction out of completeing them, as opposed to flinging my keyboard across the room. I think though, with a game like this, the seemingly minor design flaws undermine it quite a lot, and I think it would have been WAY better if I was able to try a puzzle another time when I wasn't feeling so tired and irritable.

eh.

It was a good timewaster, but playing it through once is more then enough.

so close!

it's a great game, but i think just a tiny bit more polish would have made it fantastic! for one thing, making flaying compulsory after a jump may have made it more difficult, but also more frustrating to jump nimbly from platform to platform, having to muddily manouevere my little guy down onto the next one. also, perhaps include subtle hints about where the last pixel is if a player hasn't found one over 3 minutes or something, because while finding pixels may be the core challenege, it is also seomtimes very difficult to discern whehther a certain pixel is the LAST ONE before the next upgrade, or if you're wasting your time. like i said, it's an awesome game, but just a few more subtleties would have completed it.

Evil-Dog responds:

yeah hints and more pixels than needed could have been nice, I'll keep that in mind for the next

it ws ok the first time.

it was pretty good, but it has zero replay value. play it once and that's it.

awesome!

i can't wait for number 2! make sure you include all the stuff that you talked about at the end!

good, but...

like the guy below me said, the lag at the end of the game kinda ruined it, as i found myself trying to wrestle with the the controls for a lot of the end, even on low quality... and my computer isn't exactly low end. apart from that it was also a very close game. i only bought the turret upgrade, but even with all my money going into bomb research i only JUST beat the game. i can't imagine how other people did it while still buying all the other upgrades. in the end, pretty good, but could use some more work.

umm....

would have been 10x better with proper physics, this version is too anoying to enjoy playing.
