Average.

The instructions are vague, I had no idea that I had to use the mouse until I finally realised that wierd shape was a crosshair. I even resorted to keyboard mashing at one stage. Try to include instructions that actually HELP. I was originally going to give this a 0 until I found out how to control properly.

rolanfox responds:

Sorry the instructions weren't better, I figured nobody reads instructions anyways they just want to play and use their intuition to figure it out.

Hoo boy

Youjust walked into a minefield. Newgrounds + Twilight = You will die. Probably soon.

Dzin responds:

How about Transformers then? <:)

Rip off.

Pretty bad rip off of Whip the Worker.

sealgod95 responds:

thx,now I finally found the name of that game,i search it for years.

Too hard

I know you people are going to hate this review, but what can you do.
The first few levels were fine, getting the hang of things, not too bad. By the time 1:30 rolled around I was still having fun, beating each level by the skin of my teeth. But then I hit the 2:00 mark, and shit just got fucked up. Monster after monster just kept popping up, and I couldn't beat them back with fist alone. In a panic I quickly opened all the gifts, hoping that there might at least be ONE weapon or trap in there. But for some reason, there was not a trap in sight. I mean COME ON, there were like 9 or 10 gifts there, and every single fucking one had a monster in it. The difficulty curve had become a right angle, and after attempting the same level over and over, only seeming to get 1 or 2 weapons for every 7 monsters and getting miserably beaten every time, I just felt deflated. This review would have been a 10/10 5/5 combo, but after getting curb stomped by those god forsaken robots one time too many I just feel annoyed at how good the game could have been. Maybe I'll consider playing again if you tweak the random spawn factor of the weapons and monsters to a slightly less one sided ratio.

Evil-Dog responds:

we played a lot tweaking the progression and we think it's just fine. A little on the hard side but that's the fun :D

not bad, but what's the point?

There's no story. There's nothing to keep me interested in the game. The artwork is straight from google images. Also, guns, weapons and people hardly covers the title " Create Anything". Perhaps you shoud rename it "Create Some Things".

P.S. Before you bother telling me that it's just a beta and you were going to add more categories, why then did you put 2 incomplete ones in there and leave the rest out?

ethob121 responds:

It's not meant to have a story line, I put i to incomplete because there already started its called create anything because its gonna get more things and I drew the things my self and it took me a while so don't say there from google images or any other crap like that I'm only 12 BTW.

Colour and sound.. but

That's about it. Custom mouse cursors are getting old. Seriously, there are way too many flashes like this one out there. Also, custom cursors are pretty easy to make, so unless FUSE was hard to work with, I don't see why it should have been that challenging.

FatKidWitAJetPak responds:

I didnt use normal cursing coding. Normal cursor coding can not do the things I wanted and when it would get close it would just lag. I basically am trying to take the whole "cursor" thing to another level.

Kinda useless...

Well... at least it's better than your first attempt. That's really the only feature about this that I can review. This doesn't have any more functionality then any of the other "NG Radios", like EON's one or the NG Radio/Chat. Even Newgrounds Radio by Archawn had visualisations. This one doesn't add anything... it's just a copy off the others, which are more appealing than this one, both visually and because they were original at the time. I dunno, this one just seems useless. I mean, what's with the cube at the bottom? Seems like you were so excited at being able to create a 3D cube that you needed to show everyone, and just stuck it there. It's not even relevant to the rest of the gadget.
Sorry, but at LEAST ad some more originality to it next time.

MCarsten responds:

Yeah but I did this a group of all my programming skills, not to do the best #1 new radio 10/10. Thanks for review.

meh.

Sure it's functional, but what does it do better then the first one? I give you 5 stars for trying, but you could have at least added some more features..... or made it higher than 12 frames per second.

Viktor responds:

I am adding medals tomorrow, I am also focusing on smileys.

Learn some more AS before you try to teach it.

To anyone who reads this review, there are better tutorials out there, made by people who know what they're talking about... and don't steal their stuff from other tuts. If you're fine with just copying and pasting stuff straight into your flashes without knowing why it does what it does, then go ahead. But if you really want to learn, look somewhere else.
Most of this tutorial seems like it was made by one of the people who should be watching tutorials, not making them. You just stuck the code there and didn't even try to explain what it did. How is that supposed to help people who want to learn? Seems like you don't even know any of this stuff, you just googled and copy/pasted it. Also, it's pretty obvious to me that you didn't come up with the "cool cursor effect" code by yourself. I don't know where you got it from, but you didn't give the other person credit for it.
This tutorial is just plain bad.

JELM responds:

of course I don't know a lot about action script, thus the reason this is a BASIC tutorial. I didn't think it would be necessary to explain the code and people would just want to copy and paste from this one.
and yes I didn't make the "cool cursor effect" code, I just put it in for shits and giggles.
Maybe you know a bit about flash and AS so you thought of this tutorial of a waste of time, but for complete beginners they would find the simplest codes helpful.
Also the button, drag and drop and movieclip follow mouse codes were all the ones I have created by messing around.
Thank you for the review though.

not bad

there are a few things you should straighten out though. You should decrease the effect that gravity has on bullets, because being able to lob bullets over large distances just feels awkward.

mmankt responds:

i decided to make it like this because your line of sight is limited, i agree that it needs a lot of tweaking but i certainly wouldn't make them fly in a straight line. thx for the review!

I do things maybe
